THIS LIMITED WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS, WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.

WE WARRANT THAT DURING THE WARRANTY PERIOD, THE PRODUCT WILL BE FREE FROM DEFECTS IN MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP.
WE LIMIT THE DURATION AND REMEDIES OF ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE TO THE DURATION OF THIS EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTY.
SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
OUR RESPONSIBILITY FOR DEFECTIVE GOODS IS LIMITED TO REPAIR, REPLACEMENT, OR REFUND AS DESCRIBED BELOW IN THIS WARRANTY STATEMENT.
Furniture Frames
Summit warrants all teak/furniture frames to be free from defects in material and/or workmanship for a period of three (3) years from date of invoice. Fading and color changes in wood frames are not covered by the warranty as changes in the color of wood are normal and should be expected to occur over time as the natural material ages. Small cracks, which may appear in the end grain of teak when exposed to the elements, and any change of appearance due to usual weathering are considered entirely natural for teak outdoor furniture and are not covered by this warranty.
Furniture frames are warrantied for normal contract/hospitality use and are not warrantied against (a) normal wear and tear; (b) damage resulting from accidents, alterations, misuse, tampering, negligence, or abuse; (c) failure to follow the product instructions or to perform any preventive maintenance; (d) unauthorized repair; or (e) from improper care or storage.
Components such as chair feet/glides are subject to wear and tear and are not considered part of the frame.
Summit will, at its option, repair, replace, or refund the purchase price of any furniture frames found defective upon inspection by an authorized Summit service representative. To obtain warranty service, you must call (831) 375-7811 or email our Customer Service Department at info@summitfurniture.com during the Warranty Period.
Fabrics
Summit warrants fabrics for a minimum of two (2) years per the terms of the individual fabric manufacturers’ warranties.
Cushion and Cover Workmanship
Summit warrants the workmanship of its cushions and covers for a period of two (2) years from date of invoice.
Cushion and cover workmanship is warrantied for normal contract/hospitality use and are not warrantied against (a) normal wear and tear; (b) damage resulting from accidents, alterations, misuse, tampering, negligence, or abuse; (c) failure to follow the product instructions or to perform any preventive maintenance; (d) unauthorized repair; or (e) from improper care or storage.
Umbrosa Umbrellas
Umbrosa umbrellas are warrantied per the terms of the Umbrosa warranty agreement found here.
Tuuci Umbrellas
Tuuci umbrellas are warrantied per the terms of the Tuuci warranty agreement found here.
THE REMEDIES DESCRIBED ABOVE ARE YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES AND OUR ENTIRE LIABILITY FOR ANY BREACH OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. OUR LIABILITY SHALL UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES EXCEED THE ACTUAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT, NOR SHALL WE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES OR LOSSES, WHETHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
The warranties above are in lieu of all other warranties, express, implied or statutory; including, but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, and warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.
